The Union City campus welcomes neighbors from the surrounding area to participate in its active and extensive volunteer program. Volunteers spend time doing the extras for our residents, such as reading, writing letters, entertaining with special talents or hobbies, assisting with classes, or simply visiting.
Volunteer applicants are interviewed by the volunteer and community resource coordinator in order to match skills and abilities to the Home's volunteer needs. Applicants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent for the interview and volunteer orientation, unless other arrangements are made.
For more information about volunteer opportunities at the Masonic Home at Union City, please contact the volunteer and community resource coordinator at 510/429-6469 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
